Now that you have viewed the video, apply your learning by:
1 - Exercise 1:Setting up your palette according to the suggested supply list and palette set up. See these suggestions here.
2 - Exercise 2: Set up your work space, elevating your paper as shown in the video. Practice mixing ONE color (your choice!) using the four consistencies that we discussed: tea, milk, cream and butter. Try this several times and when you are confident, post your work in the "Scribbles Pad" private Facebook page.
3 - Exercise 3: Set up your work space with fresh paper. Sketch several geometric shapes: square, circle, triangle. Practicing what you saw in the video, apply your learning by practicing "wet into wet". Make sure you use "juicy" and thick paint that is like a "milk" consistency for the first wash. Then, mix up more pigment using less water and "drop" a color into the wet paint. Practice this several times, noting the color changes as the paint dries.
